Supporting Refugee Families with Prince of Peace
Prince of Peace is partnering with the United Religious Community and Church World Service to assist in the resettlement of families fleeing persecution in countries like Venezuela, Afghanistan, and Pakistan.
These families have been approved by the U.S. State Department to resettle in the United States after often spending more than five years in another country, waiting for acceptance. Since 2023, Prince of Peace has supported three families comprised of twelve individuals, ensuring they have access to transportation, groceries, clothing, medical care, and English language assistance, but most importantly, becoming independent and welcomed members of our community.
With this support, every family has secured employment within four to six weeks and rapidly achieved independence. This incredible transformation highlights the power of community and compassion in providing these families with the opportunity for a new beginning.
How You Can Make a Difference
If you are looking to make a meaningful impact in the lives of families seeking only freedom, safety, and a chance to rebuild their lives, this is an opportunity for you. Your involvement can make a significant difference in helping these families find their footing in a new country.
We invite you to join us at one of our worship services to learn more about how you can get involved. Together, we can provide the support these families need to thrive.
